Host Louis Abate:
“So there's a there's a lot of change happening. What do you think has been the most substantial change that you've seen, over the last year or two, pandemic aside - I know that kind of threw everything on its head. How have you seen things tracking? And how's that been affecting your business?”

Alex Cox:
“I think it's it's sort of a trend you have to look at more than just across one or two years. Right? AI is the big thing, ChatGPT. Those are really impactful things, especially for marketing, right, and sales. I would say lean into it.”

“While it’s not as big as the scale that we're seeing with AI right now, automation tools that we used ten years ago have given us what I think is this kind of almost like ramp up to where we are now with AI. Lean into it instead of taking the mindset of, oh, it's going to completely replace something.

“At the end of the day. It's going to make you a better marketer. And I think that's something that kinda goes back to that first question you asked me of, you’ve got to have that flexible mindset, especially as the revenue marketer.”

Host Louis Abate: “What are some of the big shifts you’ve seen as it relates to how marketing teams are going about their jobs and working to grow the business?”

Alex Cox: “We're seeing a lot of people becoming more than just their niche. Right? I think people are not just demand gen marketers or people are not just, RevOps people, or marketing ops. I think it's forcing people to get out of their comfort zones and to learn holistically. Learn about different skill sets and different things across the market, especially go to market. I think you're going to see a lot of that. Demand gen people who eventually oversee the whole go-to-market org - from sales to revenue and the entire operation. So on and so on. And everything has to tie back to the dollar. And I think what you're seeing with a lot of demand gen people, especially the really good ones is that they could tell the story. They can tie it back to the dollar.”
